Day 1PARO AIRPORT - THIMPHU (Distance: 65 kms. / Driving Time: 2 hrs. / Altitude of Thimphu: 2350 mts.)

Meet & Greet on arrival at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening explore the Thimpu town by walk. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 2THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue) a place for refreshing with a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang, National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, Takin Preserve Centre, the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here. In the evening visit Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 3THIMPHU - PONKHA/WANGDUE SIGHTSEEING (Distance: 77 kms. / Driving Time: 3 hrs.)

After breakfast drive to Punakha (4298 ft.) / Wangdue, On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.) to view the higher Himalayas. Arrival at Punakha check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Punakha Dzong - built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952.  After that take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang - The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Punakha / Wangdue.

Day 4PUNAKHA /WANGDUE - PARO SIGHTSEEING (Distance: 140 kms. / Driving Time: 5 hrs.)

After breakfast drive to Paro (7,483 ft.). On the way stop at Lamperi to visit Royal Botanical Park. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha, etc. Rinpung Dzong -Meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels". The dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 5PARO SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery - called “Tiger’s Nest” (2hrs hike from the base camp). Later visit Drukgyel Dzong & Kyichu Monastery. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 6PARO AIRPORT

After breakfast check out from hotel and drop at Paro Airport for your onward journey.

TERMS CONDITION

RESERVATION  POLICY

  • 50% of the package cost to be paid at the time of booking the Package.
  • 50% to be paid 05 days prior to the commencement of the trip.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • In case of cancellation 30 days prior to the commencement of the trip, 30% of the deposited amount shall be deducted as cancellation charges.
  • In case of cancellation 15 days prior to the commencement of the trip, 50% of the deposited amount shall be deducted as cancellation charges.
  • In case of cancellation 07 days prior to the commencement of the trip, 100% of the deposited amount shallbe deducted as cancellation charges.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • The vehicle used will be exclusive for that group but will not be at disposal. It will as per contract & will change sector wise.
  •  Sightseeing points remain closed on government holidays.
  •  In Bhutan, Indian and vegetarian food is difficult to get, hence major hotel will not have buffet spread for breakfast and dinner. They believe in waste not so requesting guests to believe the same and enjoy the hospitality.
  • Permit office ( Phuentshilong) will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. So requesting to plan your trip in between Mondays to Thursday if coming via Road.
  •  Must keep your original photo Identity proof with you.
  •  Your Itinerary will be strictly on timings.
  •  The above program is only indicative and the passenger has to verify each day’s program form the Driver. Please, coordinate with your Driver for extra pick time form your hotel for each departure or sightseeing and request to follow the same very strictly.
  •  In every city please take the contact numbers of your Driver and your hotels.
  • All Hotels and Services are confirmed as per the Itinerary No Amendments will make upon Arrival.
  • The car will be with you during your sight seen only, your free time we are not bound to serve your vehicle. For further transportation you need at your free time then you have to manage at your own cost.
  • Room Rates based on Standard Rooms. Supplement cost will be applicable for higher category rooms.
  • Breakfast will start from Day 2 of the itinerary.
  • Services will be given in exchange for Original vouchers/Itinerary only.
  • There is No Refund for unutilized Service.
  • On hilly areas, the CARAC will not work.
  • During sightseeing the vehicle will go up to a permissible point only; from that point any arrangement to be made all extra expenses shall have to be borne by the passengers.
  • Preponement of the journey is not allowed. It will be treated as cancellation & accordingly the cancellation charges will be applicable.
  • If accommodation is not available in the identified / specific hotel for the particular package tour due to reason beyond our control, we shall make our best efforts to shift the clients to hotel maintaining / having more or less the same standard. No complaint or claim shall be made by the client in this respect.
  •  It is always advisable to keep two photographs ready with you during the journey.
  •  Please keep one Xerox copy set of your Passport and visas with your relative in India and one set with you during the travel. This is most useful in case of loss or theft.
  •  Baggage allowance is 20 Kg for check-in luggage. Hand Bag allowance is 7 kg.
  •  If your flight or train is delayed or canceled, Shree Kala Tours and Travels Pvt.Ltd. is not responsible for any compensation for hotels, meals, sightseeing or any other claim.
